Ein prat - The Academy
for Leadership
About Ein Prat
The Ein Prat Leadership Academy was established in 2001-2002 as part of Israel’s pre-army preparatory programs. It was founded by a group of residents from the Gush Adumim region (Kfar Adumim, Alon, and Nofei Prat) who sought to promote a shared way of life for religious and secular Jews by creating an educational institution in the region.
The backdrop for the academy’s establishment was the painful period of internal division in Israeli society during the 1990s, culminating in the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin Z”l. This event highlighted the urgent need to renew a unifying ethos — one that could bridge the divides within the Jewish-Zionist-Israeli public
Who We Are
We are Jewish-Zionist-Israelis — men and women representing a broad spectrum of opinions, beliefs, and lifestyles. Among us are secular, religious, and traditional individuals, as well as people from across the political spectrum — right, center, and left.
As individuals privileged to live in the Land of Israel and the State of Israel, and as partners in its development, we view our lives through a multi-generational lens. We recognize where we came from and, through that awareness, seek to understand where we are going and what is required of us.
We see ourselves as a link in the chain of generations, carrying the legacy and narrative of the Jewish people: choice and mission, destruction and exile, Holocaust and rebirth. And alongside these monumental moments, a vast realm of spiritual creation.
We feel a profound sense of gratitude for the privilege of living as free people in our homeland and our state. From this gratitude grows a deep sense of responsibility to continue the story of Israel’s renewal for the sake of the Jewish people and for a better world for all its inhabitants.
Our Mission
At Ein Prat, we aspire to repair the world (Tikkun Olam). We believe that the journey begins with repairing the society and community in which we live, and for that to happen, every individual must first work on themselves.
At the heart of our work is the development of personal character and the cultivation of moral integrity. We aim to nurture self-leadership rooted in identity, belonging, and commitment among individuals who are part of a community, united by a shared vision and purpose, and driven to bring good into the world.
